Huskers Host #6 Ohio State – Game Day at CB Live Desert Ridge- Nov. 6th – Kickoff 9:00 a.m. AZ time

Huskers "N" Arizona

What a disappointing season for us and our Huskers so far! This week the Huskers host #6 ranked Ohio State, looking to end a three-game losing streak against them, with their last three setbacks coming by a total of 12 points.

Game day is at 2nd newest watch-site, CB Live (aka Copper Blues @ Desert Ridge) in northeast Phoenix. Game time is 9:00 a.m. MST. Doors will open by 8:15 a.m.

(The end of daylight savings time elsewhere is overnight Saturday.)

Excerpts from Huskers.com
….Game time between two of the most storied college football programs is set for 11 a.m. CT with television coverage provided by FOX, and the game can also be heard on the Huskers Radio Network.

Nebraska comes into the game with a 3-6 overall record and a 1-5 mark in Big Ten play. The Huskers are coming off a 28-23 home setback against Purdue on Saturday. Nebraska held a 17-14 advantage at halftime, but could not hold the lead, as the Boilermaker defense controlled the Husker offensive attack in the second half to key the victory….

Ohio State stands at 7-1 overall and 5-0 in Big Ten Conference play, following a 33-24 victory over No. 20 Penn State on Saturday night in Columbus. Ohio State is ranked No. 6 in this week’s AP poll and stands at No. 5 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

Huskers Travel to Michigan State – Game Day at Clancy’s – Sep. 25 – Kickoff 4:00 p.m. AZ time

Huskers "N" Arizona

Our Huskers held their own against Oklahoma for much of the game, but penalties and missed field goals cost them the victory. This week our Huskers travel to #20 Michigan State for their first Big Ten conference game. From SaturdayTradition.com, “Michigan State is up to No. 20 on the AP Poll and riding high behind the play of running back Kenneth Walker III. Nebraska remains unranked and continues to do itself in with bad mistakes and sloppy penalties in key moments.”  Let’s hope the Huskers are running on all cylinders this week and can put together a win!

Game day is at one of our original watch-sites, Clancy’s Pizza & Pub in Scottsdale (SW corner of Camelback & Miller). Get there early so you can get one of their gameday-only  Runzas.
