Calling All Husker Fans!!

Join us for our annual Big Ten Happy Hour Thursday
April 12th from 5:30-7:30pm at the Gainey Ranch Golf Club. You
don’t have to be an alum of any Big Ten school, just a fan!

Admission to the happy hour is $5 and includes appetizers.
We will have a putting contest starting at 4:30pm. Winner receives a foursome to Gainey!
Entry for putting contest is an additional $5.

All proceeds from this event benefit Make A Wish of Arizona and the Big Ten Golf Classic scholarship fund. During the event, we will present Make A Wish with our largest donation yet!

Registration is now open for
the 36th Annual Big Ten Big Ten Golf Classic – Phoenix, Arizona Tournament on May 12th at Troon North Golf Club. (And we need more Husker Golfers to dethrone Ohio State!)

Spring Game 2018 is Saturday April 21, 9 a.m. AZ time

BIG 10 vs. PAC 12 Baseball Challenge Thurs-Sun, February 22-25, 2017

College Baseball returns to the Surprise Recreation Campus this spring. The BIG 10 – PAC 12 Baseball Challenge is scheduled February 23 – 26 and will host Oregon State, Nebraska, Utah and Ohio State.

HNAZ needs volunteers to help work our membership table on Thursday 2/22 noon to 1:30pm and Friday 2/23 from 4pm to 5:30pm.  Please email Jean Carhart  at viceprez@huskersnarizona.com for details and perks.

Cheer on the Huskers in Tempe!

Join the Nebraska Alumni Association and fellow Husker fans for a baseball tailgate at the Husker Classic in Tempe, Arizona. Check out this special invitation from Head Coach Darin Erstad:

Date: Saturday, Feb. 17

Tailgate event: 10 a.m. – noon MST | Doubleheader first pitch: noon MST

Location: Tempe Diablo Stadium (2200 W Alameda Dr., Tempe, AZ),
inside the stadium, down the left field concourse

Tailgate cost: $15 for adults; $10 kids 12 and under – Includes unlimited tailgate buffet, water, tea and lemonade; access to a cash bar

Parking and admission to the Husker Classic baseball games are free. The tailgate event will be held rain or shine and is non-refundable.

Huskers N Arizona Las Vegas Nite
Since we aren’t in a Bowl Game this year, we planned a fun Las Vegas night and Game Day Prizes Party on 12/29 at 6:30 pm to thank you our members for your support!

First, we tried to find a more central venue plus keep it affordable for you and our club. (HNAZ will be subsidizing a good portion of the cost.)
The Hidden Palace is an event venue at 15005 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032 (south of Greenway).
Second, we hired a professional casino vendor to provide dealers and gaming tables to give us an authentic casino experience.
Las Vegas night will cost $10.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members (with a limit of 4 non-member guests per household).
This entry fee will provide appetizers, a starter gaming fund, and prizes for money winners at the end.  We also arranged an affordable cash bar with beer @$2.00 and wine @ $3.00.
Game Day prizes will be raffled off throughout the evening.
